Chief Executive Officer
Calvin G. Butler Jr. is the chief executive officer of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE), the nation's first gas utility. Butler is responsible for ensuring BGE's successful execution of the following key areas: safety, reliability, customer service, and diversity and inclusion. He is a member of BGE's Board of Directors and the executive committee of BGE's parent company, Exelon.
Butler serves as vice-chair of the Gridwise Alliance, an advocacy organization promoting modernization and innovation for the nation's electrical grid, as an Independent Trustee of the PNC Funds Board, and on the Board of Directors for RLI Corp serving as a member of its audit and nominations/governance committees.
Prior to becoming CEO in March 2014, Butler was BGE's senior vice president, regulatory and external affairs. Butler also served as Exelon's senior vice president of corporate affairs and held other leadership positions at Exelon and BGE's sister utility, ComEd (Chicago).
Before joining Exelon in 2008, Butler held senior leadership roles in external affairs as well as manufacturing with the print, digital and supply chain solutions company RR Donnelley. He spent his early career with CILCORP (Central Illinois Light Co.), where he held positions in government affairs, legal and strategy.
He has been recognized by several organizations for his leadership and community commitment. In 2017, he was named among Black Enterprise Magazine's "300 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America," and "Industrialist of the Year" by the Baltimore Museum of Industry. The Daily Record named Butler one of Maryland's "Most Admired CEOs" and one of its top 35 Influential Marylanders, while Baltimore Magazine named him as one of its "Top Ten Baltimoreans."
Butler earned a bachelor's degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., and a Juris Doctor degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Mo. He received an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters from Morgan State University in 2014.
Butler and his wife, Sharon, have two children, Blake Calvin and Raini Alexis.

Derrick Dickens is vice president of technical services. He is responsible for asset & records management, distribution engineering, distribution planning, electric system reliability planning, investment strategy, project management, smart grid initiative and vegetation management.
Before joining BGE, Dickens began his career with Exelon in 2004 and has held many key leadership positions at PECO including roles in reliability and maintenance planning, public relocations, regional engineering, technical services, training and field operations. He most recently served as director, advance meter infrastructure, where he was responsible for implementing PECO’s Smart Future Greater Philadelphia project which includes the installation of a robust, multi-tiered communication infrastructure to support advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and distribution automation (DA). Prior to joining Exelon, Dickens worked for about 18 years in the telecommunications and software industries.
Dickens holds memberships in the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) and National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA). Derrick is a member of the B&O Railroad Museum Board of Directors.
Dickens earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering with a minor in mathematics and an MBA with a specialization in finance from LaSalle University.

Dodson currently serves on the board of directors for Business Volunteers Maryland and "The League" for People with Disabilities. She also serves on the Advisory Boards for Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) and the University of Maryland Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a member of Executive Alliance, an organization that champions women leaders. She is a graduate of Leadership Baltimore County class of 2009.
Vice President and General Counsel
Vice President, Human Resources
Galambos was named vice president of human resources for BGE in May of 2017. Prior to that, she served as Associate General Counsel for Labor and Employment for Exelon Corporation. In this role, she was responsible for labor and employment litigation, labor relations negotiations, organizing activity and litigation; labor and employment aspects of all Merger & Acquisition transactions, as well as training and counseling for Exelon's Human Resources professionals.
Prior to joining Constellation Energy Group in 2003, Galambos was Of Counsel in the Labor and Employment Practice Group of Morgan Lewis & Bockius in Washington, D.C. for eight years and also spent five years as a litigation attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Labor.
Galambos is active in the Baltimore Community. She serves on the boards of Young Audiences and SquashWise and volunteers on The Women's Law Center's Employment Law Hotline.
Vice President and Controller
Before his current role, Holmes was director of Exelon Generation Accounting where he was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting aspects of Exelon Generation's nuclear, gas-fired, renewable and hydroelectric generating fleet with accounting teams spanning three geographic locations. Holmes joined Exelon in 2012 through the company's merger with Constellation Energy. He held several key accounting leadership positions within Constellation, including director of Accounting Policy and Research and director of Technical Accounting.
Before joining Constellation, Holmes spent four years with the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, and eleven years with the Tennessee Valley Authority in various accounting and financial reporting positions.
Vice President, Governmental and External Affairs
Vice President, Gas Distribution
Prior to this role, McMullen was vice president of support services where she lead many critical areas of the company, including training, security, environmental management, performance assessment, fleet services, and real estate and facilities. She was also the company's chief safety officer, with oversight for the company's safety and wellness initiatives. McMullen also previously led Vision 2020, the most transformative effort ever undertaken at BGE, which involves multiple initiatives including smart grid implementation.
She joined BGE in 1989 and was promoted to senior engineer in 1995. From 1998-2009, McMullen held a wide range of leadership positions in the areas of strategic customer engineering, business performance improvement and design services. McMullen has a strong process background and was part of the visionary team that laid out the roadmap for BGE's transformation effort. She is also a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Vice President, Information Technology Applications
Michael Menendez serves as vice president of IT for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE). In this role, he is responsible for leading BGE’s IT operations and transformational programs. Menendez previously served as IT director for Exelon Utilities, responsible for defining the IT strategic direction for the company’s fleet of utilities.
An information technology leader with nearly two decades of progressive experience, Menendez’s expertise includes delivering complex multi-million dollar programs and projects, designing and managing large support organizations, defining strategy, and leading Fortune 500 “M&A” activities.
Menendez currently serves on the Board of Directors for Philadelphia Futures and also regularly volunteers for local food charities and youth sports organizations.
Menendez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science & Technology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and also is a graduate of Leadership Philadelphia. He is formally trained and certified in Project Management, ITIL, and Six Sigma disciplines.
Menendez and his wife, Cathy, have two children, Cole and Kaden.
